Thanks, I too much prefer the smaller town, hell I live in on a 150 acre farm in
West Virginia so going to big city in a foreign country is really intimidating
but the few people I have talked to that have been to Merida have all loved it.
My favorite town in Mexico has been Musquiz (sp) in northern Mexico. I lived in
Boquillas del Carmen across from Big Bend a couple of times and loved it too
(beautiful place) but it was too Americanized and then taken over by drugs.
