We have been going to Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, etc. for years and never ever
have either one of us gotten sick eating in
restaurants or the food stands. Some people sun and drink too much and
that is why they get sick. Using one's common sense is all that it takes.
Eat as you would at home but don't miss the wonderful cuisine of the area
you are visiting. AI's are fine if you are in an area where there are no
restaurants. Puerto Vallarta has some wonderful places to eat and should
not be missed by staying at an AI.
