Subject: Re: Bolivia - where to go in Amazonia Posted on: Sat, 17 Jul 2004 10:40:25 -0400

Don't go to Bolivia.....mucho problemas...

Go to Peru..Look into Chachapoyas...No tourists at all....cool ruins
(Kuelap)...remote off the beaten track and even a little difficult to get
to but worth every minute.. Some tour operators are running 15-20 person
tours through there and that's about it...Cloud forrest, north central
peru, eastern slopes of the andes...Been there done that...and it was
great...!!!

Madre de Dios southeastern peru....also remote lots of birds.....lots of
them...macaws, tucans ect....
