In that area you really don't need a tour unless you're uncomfortable
outside of crowds of gringos. Grab some guidebooks and go. Maybe hookup with
a local guide for hiking the back country (highly recommended) or local
color in the more rural areas (optional). If you really really must, check
out what Carl Franz is doing these days. He was running some interesting
tours in that area: www.peoplesguide.com
