Are you backpacking or just doing day hikes? Are looking to stay at the station
in a tent, or are you staying somewhere else?

I know for dayhikes you can book through virtually any hotel/camp on the
peninsula. They all communicate by marine radio down there. I stayed at
Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp and we booked a day-long guided hike from Sirena
with one day notice. A sack lunch was included in the fee, so I can't help you
on food at the station. You might try over at http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com

I don't know much about the camping arrangements, except to say that when I was
there in January 2003 the big grassy tent area at the station was virtually
empty at 1pm, though there were lots of backpackers and daytrippers passing
through. If you are hoping for use of one of the "rooms" (the ones I saw were
basically just screened areas on the building platform), then you should
definitely have a rez, as I think there are only 4 or 5 of them.

But bring your own toilet paper and perhaps nose plugs. The restrooms were
rather heinous.
