I'd get there about an hour before showtime. The theater is worth
checking out, even if there is nothing playing. It looks like a big
European opera house, filled with artwork.
After the show is over, you can explore the plazas, Instituto de
Cabanas, with Orozco's "Man of Fire", the Liberty Market, and take an
hour ride in a buggy, for about 25 bucks.
Guadalajara is a fantastic city. I'm sure you'll have a great time.
