How old is the song, "La Llorona"? Posted on: Wed, 20 Oct 2004 09:42:02 CDT

I saw a web site recently that said that the song "La Llorona" was
written in the 1960's. That doesn't seem correct, but I'm not finding
any earlier dates for its composition.

If you've got any information on the matter, I'd greatly appreciate
receiving it.
