Your schedule looks GREAT. It looks like you have received alot of
advice so I wont bore you with more...all I can tell is to check out
Villas El Manglar 'www.elmanglarcancun.com'
(http://www.elmanglarcancun.com) for affordable very very very nice
clean rooms with a swimming pool and marina. This hotel is located on
the hotel zone in Cancun but is the southern most hotel closest to the
airport and highway for easy transport throughout the Yucatan. This
place is very very quiet. Only 8 rooms. All sorts of services
available right from there. The owner of the hotel is available
everyday and would be extremely helpful in putting you in the right
direction for the activities that you are looking to do. If you are
looking for more remote away from tourists destination...pass go and
head straight for Tulum! Tulum is has avoided major tourism
development and still exists as a nice little mayan town. Head down
the road towards the Sian Ka'an biosphere to find some really cool
little destinations/lodging. If you are looking to be completely away
from the tourists then keep going to Punta Allen and stay at
Cuzan's...but once you are there you should plan on staying for awhile
long commute from Tulum, you would not want to just turn around and
head right back. Whatever you do .... you are going to have a blast!
