I am suspicious of anyone wanting my banking data. If there is no other
problem a fair resolution would be to send the money by Western Union and
split the fees.

Actually, since he was not present at the agreed upon time I would deduct
all of the fees and send him the balance.

In my opinion, you have been stubborn in your attempt to resolve this in
only one manner, i.e. his divulging of his banking data. If I were him I
would not give you my data either.
