I'm arriving at 1PM on a Saturday in Mexico City, with just one
carry-on bag.
This is my second trip to Mexico City, and I am more or less
comfortable protecting myself from pickpockets, but of course, don't
want to take unnecessary risks.

generally safe, like any big-city subway.
Is that still correct?
Would it be ok to take the carry-on bag at around 1PM in the subway?
How crowded would it be on a weekend (Saturday) at 1PM?

walk since Pantitl=E1n
has 4 lines terminating there.
Line 1 has pink colored signs. Once on the line 1 train get off at
pi=F1o su=E1rez and look for the transfer point for line 2 (blue)
dirreci=F3n cuatro caminos.
The next stop on line 2 is z=F3calo
followed by allende, bellas artes and hidalgo 4 of the main el centro
stations.
