Cool. Seems like you're already aware that you could
easily spend two full days at the Tikal site alone. I easily
spend four full days there my first visit!

Bring good hiking shoes--the city sits on a bit of a plateu,
and is in a ways from the hotels and parking area. It's a good
deal of walking, but not super hard. My 81 year old mother
was able to enjoy it with us last year, so it's very doable.

If you're looking for good food out at the site, the last comedor
on the left as you're heading out of the site is great. (first on the
right entering the site).
