Carol,
Someone recommended Half Moon Bay Resort...we found it too shady and
dark compared to other lodging. We loved Bananarama in West Bay
(quieter). We stayed there as non-divers and swam, snorkeled and had a
wonderful time. The cottages are immaculate and airy. Non of the
mustiness one often finds.

I agree with the poster who said 3 weeks on Roatan as non-divers seems
long. We had 5 nights and would have stayed about 7 had we more time.
We spent about 9 on the mainland.
Feel free to poke around my site for more mainland vacation ideas. We
loved it. I include hotel ideas on different parts of the country and
the top 10 places to visit in Honduras.
One minor correction: Charlie Meador owns the Coco Pando Hotel
in Ceiba. Give him a try.

Enjoy a safe and memorable trip.
