In Miami, you collect your bags and go through Customes. You immediately go
to another room where AA has people to re-check your luggage. At that
point, you can leave the secure area and go into the general terminal, or
you can stay in a secure hallway that runs parrallel to the main concourse.
It is nothing special, just a plain hallway and is not well marked. I
believe that this may run the entire length of the airport.

However, if you want something to eat other than coffer and a roll.... you
have to leave the secure area and go to the main part of the terminal and
then beck through security.

Yes, and when I go through security, I get just short of strip searched
because I have the nerve to wear suspenders and my shoes have metal supports
built in. Thank you TSI. I sure do feel safer.
