Let's not overgeneralize either. There are less safe areas of Montreal. Parts
of Cartierville/St Laurent, parts of St Henri, and a bunch of other spots,
often depending on time of day.

I could say that all areas of San Diego are safe and be just as right as you
were with your declaration.

Both cities are *relatively* safe.
