Hello:
I want to tell you about an incident that happened to
me that I know has probably happened to many of you.
A few months ago I called Bell, and asked them
why I was paying $7.90/month even when I was on
vacation, and not making a single long distance call?
Their answer...
Well after finding my way through a maze of press 1
for english press 4 for customer service press 9 for
current user....etc (i think you get the point)
I get a guy on the phone that has no interest in giving
me any kind of customer service. In fact he told me
if I wasn't happy with their service that I should
switch companies. I couldn't believe this guy...
After hanging up and realizing that I had just been
told to f*** off by some collage punk on the phone, I got
serious.
Here's what I found:
Bell was charging me $7.90/month before I even
started making long distance phone calls, and I
had to pay for my minutes on top of that. What
were they charging me for??? Administration and
hidden network access fees. What is a network access
fee???
From Bell.ca
"The network charge helps Bell to maintain and enhance
its communication services throughout its territory"
I'm sorry....I thought I was ALREADY paying you for
your services...on top of that you want me to maintain
your network too??? Thats like going to McDonalds and
getting slapped with a $1 fee for using the ketchup.
So I looked at Primus...Sprint...all these companies
are doing it. I did a search on google for money saving
tips on phone bills and this guys site came up.
http://mybell.sytes.net/
These guys offer you the same services with better
customer service, without all the hidden costs...
Now I am making all my calls for what I used to pay
to Bell in administration and hidden network access
fees.
You've got nothing to lose and almost 2 hours of FREE
calling a month to gain. The best way to teach
Bell, Primus, and Sprint a lesson is to stop giving
them your hard earned money.
This is not a scam, call their 800 number and talk
to their call centre. You actually get a person on the
line within a few minutes. I want to send these big
companies a message, and you should too.
Cheers,
Richard
