NYC and then Chicago, okay sounds good. Don't go until next year tho

I would suggest in your month that you take in NYC, Washington DC and
Chicago. That should be enough to be going on with. New York and Washington
are connected by train but to get to Chicago they flying is probably your
best option.
Make sure you have all the right passports and wotnot don't just show up and
hope they will let you in!
