I hate to break it to you but sometimes there is.

There ARE restrictions on transporting some goods across
state lines and you can indeed get into trouble for transgressing
them. They most often deal with agricultural products and

I'll agree the chances that anyone is overly concerned with
a bottle of liquor is small.

That said quite a few tourists every year run afoul of
laws about carrying liquor in open containers inside
the car. Its always bet to put it in the trunk
