Okay... here is the deal... we won a trip to London and must take it by
the 17th of December. We do not have passports - never have.
I have been looking at the passport expediting services and it seems
that I can do this cheaper myself by flying into Chicago... here is the
situation...
The expediter service indicates that once we have gone to the PO and
had all of our paperwork certified, it needs to be put into a sealed
envelope with the USPS seal over the envelope flap. Then I need to send
it overnight to them and they will hand deliver it for me. They wait for
the passport to be issued and then they overnight it back to me...
Now, if I fly to Chicago directly, I know I can deal with my stuff
because I will be there in person... but what about my husbands stuff??
He is unable to take the time off work to do this....
If the post office seals the envelope, am I able to hand deliver it on
his behalf like the expediters would??
