To say the British hate Americans is like saying Americans hate Chevrolets.
While some Brits may hate Americans, some dislike them, some like them, some
love them, some are indifferent and the majority aren't narrow enough to lump
all Americans or anyone else in a single country into one group. Those who
are the most vociferous and willing to make public displays of their bad
manners usually "hate" a lot of other groups as well and should be recognized
as ignorant people who don't understand proper behavior in public.
Stereotyping is hardly enlightening to anyone. KM
