Subject: Staying in Downtown LA New Otani or Miyako Hotel? Posted on: Mon, 3 Jan 2005 02:52:09 +0000 (UTC)

I will be traveling with three other people and looked up prices in
Expedia for LA and these two places showed up as affordable. I have
been reading a bit about downtown LA and the homeless that wander about
at night. I'm coming from NYC and am used to some rough edges in
Manhattan. How concerned should I be about the night time in either
area?

If there was a choice of either place to stay which would be the best
considering I am also renting a car? Any concerns in leaving my car
outside overnight?

Please help!
