Those who want to drink and party nonstop in New York City always
find a way to do it. Think Dylan Thomas for one. You will not do it
particularly cheaply, however, although the few remaining Irish pubs
offer relatively cheap drinks and feature a lot of committed drinkers.
Bars don't have to close until 4 a.m., so that gives a nice long
night to find something that suits:)

The bar scene in New York City is but a shadow of what it was in the
1980s when I moved here. Now the young in search of companionship or
whatever seem to find Starbucks or bookstores the preferred venues
for meeting up.
