I think the customs officers in the UK will turn a blind eye to the fact
that everybody probably comes home with a case full of t -shirts and
trainers but in the report quoted where a couple returned with
anexpensive large item they might get nosey.For those who keep up with
the news remember Wayne Rooneys girlfriend not long ago and I beleive the
Beckhams when they bought an engagement ring.?There have been cases of
people being stopped in the UK and made to pay the excess .
