Actually...it is my 15 year old who wants to see the Epcot
Center...and I'm sure he'll have a wonderful time despite the man-made
surroundings. I've tried to figure out the "why" of all of it...and I
think he hears peers talk about it and feels that somehow he has
"missed out" on something (...though he has seen most of the
Continental US...go figure...)

Last Spring Break, he and I traveled to Cumberland Falls where we
hiked and did some photography together (even caught a perfect rainbow
over the Falls), through Savannah ( just beautiful) and Tybee Island
(great beach), then came back through Georgia, spent an afternoon
hiking at Tallulah Falls and camping nearby and drove through the
Smoky Mountains as we headed back to Indiana. It isn't as though he
has never seen real mountains or beaches...

...my husband-person is rather wonderful...and to ease your mind....no
he will not be accompanying the youngest and I to the Land of the
Mouse...

My husband and I travel a great deal...not always together...in just
the past year we did:

January: New Orleans...both of us...spent a week in a B&B in the
French Quarter.

March: Just the youngest and I, to Cumberland Falls, Savannah, Tybee
Island, Tallulah Falls, and The Smoky Mountains.

Late June/Early July: Road trip (everyone) from Indiana, through
Illinois,Missouri (picking up what was left of Route
66),Oklahoma,Texas Panhandle, New Mexico, Arizona, California...up the
coastline 1 to San Francisco...exiting California via Nevada (50)
through Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and back home...

September: New Orleans: Just me...for a week puttering around the
Quarter (stayed at another B&B) and Garden District...listening to the
music, doing some photography, writing and relaxing...

October: Just the husband-person to Texas...group of acoustic guitar
players meet (yearly) for a week to play guitar, drink beer, eat
barbecued food, and swap stories...

So yeah...as you can see he has a REALLY rough life...

Just a gypsy,

Carla
