you will need reservations at the grand canyon and Yosemite, maybe
Carmel. Death Valley has very few places to stay, but at that time of
the year it will be unbearably hot, so not very many people will want to
go there.

San francisco and Las Vegas have many hotels, so chances of you getting
a hotel a good.
