read all the advise to Americans and reverse it! Seriously driving on the
alternate side of the road is not hard physically but is deceiving. The
first thing I found helpful was to keep the driver's side to the center. In
dual carriageway roadsthis is most evident. In multilane situations it is
harder and the trickiest time is not when you are wary but as you become
comfortable and stop thinking about it all the time.
Other things that are important whether driving or as a pedestrian, look
the other way! we (americans) tend to look left first and then start across
checking out the right as we go. Do it the other way and you are history. |
