I agree that Lassen National Park is also excellent. Given the two
week constraint and distance involved, I did not consider the
possibility, but it's a very worthwhile trip. Note that highly
desirable sections such as the cinder cone are relatively inaccessible.
(Note also that Olympic NP scores better in my little hierarchy.)

The original poster has many decisions to make, but two weeks along
this general route can yield a fabulous time.
