How did a Dutchman get to know so much about the best of the southern
Canadian Rockies?
By the way Moraine Lake is FAR superior to the better known Lake Louise -
hike to the back of it, if it is open (bears). It doesn't have the pretty
railway hotel sitting on it's shores, though which seems to make a
difference to some.
Takkakaw Falls is one of the most underrated sights in the area - it should
be stupendous in September with the glacier runoff tumbling over the edge.
