The Science and Technology Museum is always a good kids hands on place.
Skyways might be fun too, although this may not impress if where you
live you have buildings joined by inside pedestrian bridges. They
might like a visit to Ft. Snelling. If you will be arriving by air and
renting a car, Ft. Snelling could be your first stop. (Depending upon
arrival time.) Then there's Camp Snoopy in the center of Mall of
America. It's a completely kid friendly amusement park right in the
center of Mall of America. Legoland could be another hit. It's a
multi-story Lego store with huge Lego Space Ships and Airplanes on
display. Unless it's changed there's a large play area filled with
Legos where kids can play for free and build whatever they want.
Nicollet Island may have some kid activities. Do your kids display any
interest in water travel. There's a Paddle Wheel Steam Boat you can
ride along the Mississippi river and have lunch or dinner too.
