Uh ... it most certainly is a photo question.

IF you are a photographer, not a tourist, be sure to get there WELL
before (or after) midday. The best "art" photos are taken when the
sun can't shine way down in. Be sure you have a cable release or a
self-timer that works. If the sun shines way down,
be prepared for exceedingly high light ratios, hard to print.
It is exceedingly difficult to get good art photos with the "beams of
light".
