Subject: Re: which is better for small kids: San Diego Zoo OR Wild Animal Park. Posted on: Thu, 10 Mar 2005 17:49:36 CST

IMO, the zoo would be better. Lots of displays to see animals up
close.

The wild animal park is an excellent zoo, but it's mostly a train ride
around the perimeter where you look down into a large plain the
animals walk around in. The carniverous ones are segregated so as to
not eat the others. your kids may not see many of the animals since
they'd be kinda far away. It's not all that way though, but plenty of
walking to other displays. They also have a truck you can ride down
into the large animal area. that's extra cost.

Sea World is nearby. That's a great place for them too.
