Subject: Re: Quickest route from DC to Montpelier VT? Posted on: Fri, 11 Mar 2005 16:15:05 +0000 (UTC)

when you start to approach where philly/delaware bridge are....stick to
the delawre side...this is the jersey turnpike....95 goes to and
through philly......I dont remeber an abundance of toll booths the last
time I cam through in april of 04 coming north......

I would assume anywhere from 8 to 9.5 hours, traffic and speeds you
drive depending....the turnpike in jersey is just one pure speed shot
as long as traffic isnt bad.....you wont get stopped for anything under
75, and cruising at 80-->85 is possible and most often required in the
fast lane.....

I will ask a friend of mine who commutes regualry from Teaneck(gw
bridge basicly) and DC........but from the gw to montpelier, you are
looking at about 4 hours......and my guess would be 4.5 minimum from
the gw to DC....
