"Best"? There are so many all over Northern California from a small
stand behind the TransAmerica Pyramid to State and National parks to
just passing through on the way to somewhere.
One of my favorites to pass through is on Lucas Valley Road between
San Rafael and Nicasio. The stand is only a mile or so along the road
but it's very nice.
Another is between the Cabrillo Highway through Bonny Doon to Empire
Grade. It can get quite dark even during a clear mid-day.
