Subject: Colrado cabin/town info Posted on: Wed, 6 Apr 2005 11:50:50 +0800

Hi,
We are trying to plan a white Xmas in the USA this coming season, and
were hoping someone maybe able to help?
We are looking for a cabin that is self contained preferably secluded
(private) but not far from town so as to get food and to go to
resturants etc.
We are a group of 4 adults (1 couple, 2 singles aged between 35-40)
and we plan to stay for 6-7 days over the xmas period. We would like
to budget around US$150-200/night if that is possible?
We don't know alot about Colorado so we don't really have any
preferences to towns as long as we maybe able to go sking if we
wanted. I have undertaken a little research, and have two thoughts
that I would like confirmed. Beckenridge seens to be a nice town to go
dining etc, but seems to be a bit too much of a "resort" town, is this
correct?
Also, towns like Leadville seem to be too quiet and probably not for
people that wouldn't mind going to see live music etc, is this also
correct?
Please don't think that I am being disrespectful to these towns as I
am just asking to be corrected, and would appreciate respectful
replies.

Anyway I hope someone could help and appreciate everyones response.
