I was there last month and it is still a "POS" by many people's
standards but it is cheap, and convenient to most DC sites, If you are a
person who needs modern rooms and up-to-date decor this is not the place
for you - but if all you need is a "tourist grade hotel", a place to
sleep, clean but old bathrooms, it is great value.

I have stayed there twice and would do it again on a future visit.
(but it ain't The Ritz)
