Subject: SuperShuttle Service at Washington Dulles Posted on: Fri, 15 Apr 2005 21:19:36 EDT

Last Sunday night (April 10) I arrived at Washington Dulles (IAD) slightly
after 10:00 PM. The SuperShuttle counter was closed by then, so I went
outside of the terminal building to an area in which there were two blue
vans waiting. I told one of the drivers that I wanted to go to Leesburg in
Virginia, which is about 15 miles away from IAD. To my great surprise, the
driver said SuperShuttle would only go to places far away from IAD and
Leesburg was not far enough!

Before I arrived at IAD that evening, I checked the SuperShuttle website and
also called their office in Washington. Both sources indicated that the
one-way fare would be $30.

Comments/explanations? Thanks.

(I ended up taking a cab for $37 including tips.)
