Although reports concentrate on beds and mattresses, it should be noted that
bedbugs can set up shop in chairs, couches, etc., as well. One of the
contributors remarks about having been "poked in the posterior". I have had
this happen in other parts of the world while sitting in an all-wood
straight chair that just happened to have some loose joints, where the bugs
lurked.
