I'd second everything below. I'd also second or add:

1. Rent a bicycle and ride along the lakefront

2. Go see some improv at Second City
3. Go out to Oak Park and take a walking tour of Frank Lloyd Wright
houses
4. Try a Chicago-style hot dog at Fluky's - it has to have celery salt
on it
5. Take in a game at Wrigley Field
6. See a movie at the Music Box Theatre
or the Brew & View

7. Take in the sites along the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Ave)

8. Visit Navy Pier; take a ride on the ferris wheel

9. Have a Chicago Greeter escort you around for a day

10. Try Chicago-style pizza at Pizzeria Due
11. Visit the Billy Goat Tavern
