Forget Santa Fe. Since that town turned trendy housing prices are
atrocious. In addition, the tax rate is New Mexico is on the high
side. Not only in sales taxes but with all other forms of taxation.
Our friends who live in New Mexico are retiring in several years to
Nevada. Because the cost of living and the tax rate is much better
than in their present state.
