If it is a closed access highway (400 series in Ontario) the speed limit is
usually 100 kph (63 mph) two lane highways are usually 80 kph (50 mph). In
city limits it is 50 kph unless otherwise posted.
There are some rest areas with picnic tables and outhouses along secondary
highways. Closed access highways have service centres where you can get fuel
and food.
