Google Sandbanks Provincial Park - it is in Prince Edward County, accessible
from the 401 (Four-Oh-One) highway. It has a very shallow flat sand beach
that is a couple kilometers long that you spawn might enjoy a little. Also
some cool sand dunes (not too big, it is Canada)

Heck Google everything that gets recommended to you and use your own
interests to decide.

Me, too.

Quebec City will give you centuries old European stone architecture to
digitize
Kingston has Queen's University with a fair number of 19th century buildings
and the limestone things in town as well.

I don't think that highway 7 is that scenic, as one other poster suggested.
it can be nice in the fall, but does nothing for me in the spring and
summer.
It is a 2 lane highway so it is slower than the 401 (6 lane Trans Canada
highway).

I'm not sure what your comment about traffic means but the 401 will not slow
you down, except across the top of Toronto, if you do it in rush hour.

Sandbanks is cool for adults, too

Cullen Gardens, in Whitby, just east of Toronto, has a miniature park and
some nice gardens that would constitute a good photo op. It's not that big,
and is a commerical enterprise owned by folks who had one of the largest
nurseries in the Toronto area for decades.
