Google on "chemin du roy montreal quebec". Chemin du Roy is the
original highway between Montreal and Quebec City--now highway 138. It
passes through a lot of scenic pastoral countryside, going through many
small villages. It's all two-lane, and fairly curvy. Hopefully the
day you drive Montreal-Quebec is not just around a long weekend or
traffic will be pretty heavy. Otherwise, there isn't that much traffic
until you're close to the major cities.
