Planning a trip to the Mid West in mid September--Flying into Phoenix, made
reservations to stay in Cottonwood (close to Sedona) for a few days. From
there, made reservations for the "Grand Canyon Railway Ride to the Rim"
package so will be in Williams for two days. After that we're flexible and
open to suggestions. We've got two weeks, have car, willing to travel but
have not made any other firm plans. Want to begin to plan out an itinerary
and am looking for some ideas relative to a driving route; want to
prioritize where to go and what to see and approx how many days to plan on
staying at various locations. Our rail trip includes a bus tour of the
South Rim of the Grand Canyon--what about driving to the North Rim and the
other National Parks--Brice, Zion etc.? Ideas and suggestions appreciated.
