I just noticed that the NWS is predicting snow above about 8000'
in Yosemite tonight. We got rain here in the Bay Area today, and
now the system is moving east and encountering colder air. There's
still no opening date prediction for the Tioga Pass Road. Besides
the snow, the rockfalls aren't helping the situation:

Those poor road crews are probably about ready to park the snowplows, go
home to El Portal, and let Mother Nature sort it out around August. ;-)
