The Golden Age Pass yields a 50% discount at all Federal campgrounds
(National Forest, National Park, National Monuments, National
Recreation Areas, NWAs, etc.) as well as the above mentioned entry
charges. And if you hang it in your car window at most trailheads
which require a special $5 per day parking charge (the "fee
demonstration" areas like those that require a Northwest Forest Pass
in Washington and Oregon) you pay no fee. In the six years we have
used it, we've saved many hundreds of dollars.
