I find it amusing that I was asked to remove my shoes in
Gainesville, Florida, so later at JFK, I took my shoes off.
At JFK, a TSA person announced loudly, "Remove your
shoes, unless you are wearing sneakers." I pointed out
that I had already put my sneakers on the belt. "Oh, well."

I like to take my shoes off on long flights, and later in the
plane, I went to the back and asked for some water. The
attendant, attempting to be funny, said, "Only if you agree
to put your shoes on." :-) =Rog'=
