You can get a good room for under $100 in/around Boston - I picked up
the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge for 4th of July weekend last year for
$60/night on Priceline. It might have helped that I was booking 2
rooms for 3 nights, but still, it was only $60/night. I suspect you
could be lucky enough to get into the Westin or the Sheraton for
$100/night (about half-price).
