Such as? Gas is fast approaching $3 a gallon. The air traffic is so
clogged that any weather disruption ties up the entire nation.
Besides, going through airports has become a pain in the kiester.

Within 300 mile distances, rapid and on time train service would be
heavily used in the more densely populated parts of the country. The
problem with the US rails isn't lack of demand. It's lack of
dependable and rapid service.
