Subject: Best city to live? Posted on: Sun, 17 Jul 2005 23:51:17 +0000 (UTC)

We are a childless couple in our late 30s who are able now to move to
any city in the US.

We are looking for -

Reasonably large city
Scenic, outdoors activities available
Reasonable proximity to other cities
Intellectual - we are interested in books and film
Cost of living is not that important as long as it is not exorbitant,
we are financially well-off but not wealthy - we would like to be able
to live near or in the city in a fairly large home not in a distant
burb
Weather is not that important

We have already lived in Seattle and Denver. Seattle fits a lot of
these criteria but we would like a change of pace. Denver good for
outdoors but far away from everything else and not that intellectual.

Any suggestions?
