Not if it is fitted correctly. Then it loses out
to most T-shirts.

Actually, for the functions for which they are
designed, they serve their purposes perfectly, which
is more than I can say for most T-shirts. (T-shirts
have no yoke which is about like designing a bike
with no seat). Yeah, they work, and they are cheap,
but they fit like crap and except for higher quality
(and therefore not cheap anymore) cotton ones they
don't really feel comfortable in hot weather. You
either have to get one that is large and hangs badly,
or one that stretches over some part of your body.
And in keeping with the theme of these newsgroups,
has there been a more dilatorious effect on most
popular tourist site than the ubiquitous T-shirt
shop?
