Good idea, Brian. Take a taxi to Ground Zero; this is the location of
the World Trade Center PATH station. There are a succession of 3
elevators to the platform (street to mezzanine, mezzanine to concourse,
concourse to track level). There are also escalators for the middle
level. At the Hoboken end there is an elevator to street level that
opens to the taxi stand.
The PATH is $1.50. A taxi to Hoboken from Manhattan alone will probably
be $30, and will take longer than the 10 minute PATH trip.
